So,with all the crap that we put in our hair, every now and then I think we need to kinda repair/cleanse because from shampoo and conditioner, your hair can get this film on it and the different chemicals and sprays we put in it can cause split ends and damaged hair so here is a great DIY hair mask that you probably have at your house to make.Honey and olive oil!!

DIY menu board

So, I will admit....I am a total Pinterest addict.I have been so inspired to be more crafty and frugal.I have been writing my weekly menu on a piece of paper and hanging it on my fridge....but I have seen so many  adorable menu plan boards that I decided to try to make one myself (thanks to Pinterest). All I did was get a picture frame from the dollar tree, construction paper and cut it to fit the frame, letter/saying stickers and that's it! You can decorate it with whatever matches the theme of your kitchen and mine is chefs so I thought the dark red, brown, and black went perfect with it.The picture is not the best, but I am pretty happy with the end result.....sorry for the glare. My good camera broke so now I am back to using my cheap one.

You are so precious to me in every way, my first born. You are so beautiful inside and out and it's so special the bond we have that noone else has with you.You are my son and I love you so very much.I love to watch you running and playing outside, I love it when you rub my head when you know I am upset and you tell me "mommy I love you more than candy" ,I love to see you show compassion towards your brother when we get onto him and you run and get him a toy and rub his head.I would not change anything about you and I love you for who you are.I have hopes and dreams of me having some imprint on you and your adult life, so Son this is what I want you to know:

Homemade face wash

Wow! It has been a  while since I have been on here! Pinterest inspired me and I guess I couldn't get off  long enough to blog! So anyways, here I am to talk about....face wash....There are so many washes at the drug stores and none of them ever helped my skin. I think they did more damage than good with all the junk that's in them. I was using Mary Kay for a while and ran out, so I found some recipes for some homemade face washes (which there are TONS.....Google it sometime).Well, I tried a lot of different ones and really liked the honey and baking soda one the best. The honey cleanses and the baking soda exfoliates. I have used this for quite a few months now and haven't had any zits. I dont really measure when I am mixing, I just try to get the constitency of glue. Well, lately it has been really irritating going back and forth from the bathroom to the kitchen to get the honey and bs. My handsoap bottle was out so I decided to clean it out really good and make it my own facewash bottle....tada!!! I am so proud of myself! So here is what I did:

I absolutely love kale!It is packed with so many nutrients.
.Here's the nutritonal facts:
Wow!So healthy and so good! Alot of people will cut it up in chip size pieces, season it with salt and bake or dehydrate them and I am sure it is good made like that but I prefer it in soup.I wanted to try kale for a while just because of how good it is for you and just wanted to try something new so I found a great recipe on allrecipes.com and slightly modified it so here it the recipe for you.I love to eat it when I am sick just to boost my immune system .Oh,and for added bonus it is meatless!
